Service Text Messaging Terms

These terms apply to the Fix It Joe LLC customer-service SMS and MMS program. They supplement the terms for your actual work or project; they do not replace your estimate, invoice, or project agreement.

What you can receive

With your permission, we may text about your service inquiry, job details and photos, appointment scheduling and reminders, arrival updates, and estimate or invoice links. This program does not include promotions or marketing campaigns.

Choosing to receive texts

You can agree verbally during a call or by an affirmative text reply after we explain the program. We record that permission. Providing a phone number alone does not enroll you. If you contact us first by text, we may respond to that inquiry; permission is requested before expanding to ongoing scheduling and job updates.

Consent is voluntary and is not a condition of purchase. You may use phone or email instead. Only provide a mobile number you are authorized to use, and let us know if it changes.

Frequency and cost

Messages may recur as needed for your inquiry and work. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply under your mobile plan. Fix It Joe LLC does not charge a separate subscription fee for this texting program.

STOP, START, and HELP

Reply STOP to the number texting you to stop further texts from that number. You may receive one confirmation of your opt-out. STOP blocks service messages from that sender as well as any other texts from it; it does not stop only a particular type of message. Reply START to that number if you wish to resume this program.

Reply HELP for assistance, or contact joe@fixitjoe.com or (813) 469-2724. Requests made in ordinary language to stop texting will also be honored. Tell us if your request applies to all Fix It Joe numbers; we will not use another number to evade that request.

Delivery

Delivery depends on mobile carriers, coverage, and network availability. Messages may be delayed or fail to arrive. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Do not rely on this texting program for emergencies or urgent safety matters.

Privacy

See our Text Messaging Privacy Policy for how we use and protect messaging information. Permission for service texts does not grant permission for a separate marketing program.
